HERMIT CRAB SIMULATOR — TERMS & CONDITIONS Version 2 · September 19, 2026 Please read these terms before playing. By selecting “Accept & continue,” you agree to these terms with Keller Creations. If you do not agree, do not continue into the game. You may close or uninstall the app. 1. ABOUT THE GAME Hermit Crab Simulator is a fictional terrarium game for personal entertainment. Its feeding, shell collecting, habitat moisture, pools and care timers are simplified game mechanics, not instructions for caring for real animals. Your digital crabs need care even when the app is closed. Missed care causes the worn shell to be lost; a free recovery meal restores the companion in the free starter shell. Lost shells can be bought again for 10% of their original coin price. The Care screen explains the current rules. 2. YOUR USE Use Hermit Crab Simulator lawfully and for personal, noncommercial enjoyment. Do not redistribute its artwork or software without permission, interfere with its services, exploit payment systems, or use the game to infringe another person's rights. Any rights provided by applicable law remain available to you. If you are not old enough to agree to these terms in your location, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree with you and supervise purchases. 3. APPLE LICENSE AND SERVICES For an App Store download, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies unless a valid custom license is provided on the App Store. These game terms supplement that license and do not reduce your rights under it. Apple's App Store, payment, iCloud, and device-service terms apply to those services. Apple is not the provider of Hermit Crab Simulator's gameplay or support. 4. COINS AND OPTIONAL PURCHASES Coins are virtual game currency. They have no cash value, are not an investment, and cannot be redeemed for money, transferred to another player, or used outside Hermit Crab Simulator. Some coins can be earned through play; additional coin packs are optional purchases. Apple displays the payment amount and currency before you approve a purchase. Only authorize purchases you intend to make. Coins are spent when you confirm an in-game purchase. Coins are shared across habitats. Shell collections belong to each habitat. Themes, lighting, and decorations belong to each habitat. Consumable coins that have already been spent are not restored as new coins. Interrupted purchases can be checked using Retry store. Refund requests and billing issues can be submitted through Apple's Report a Problem service. Nothing in these terms excludes refunds or other remedies required by law or Apple's applicable policies. 5. YOUR TERRARIUM AND SAVES Progress is stored on your device. Deleting the app, replacing a device, storage failures, or importing a different backup can affect that progress. Optional iCloud backup saves the terrarium as a whole; importing replaces local progress and does not add two balances together. Use one device at a time for the same terrarium backup. We cannot promise recovery of a save that has not been backed up. Changing shells preserves your companion. A missed care deadline loses the worn shell. Companion recovery is free; replacing a lost shell costs 10% of its original coin price. Other collected shells are retained. 6. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS The current game does not include advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs. Apple processes optional payments. Crab names, game progress, and terms acceptance are stored with the save. Optional cloud backup sends the terrarium to your iCloud account. Feeding reminders use local device notifications and require permission; device settings and operating-system behavior can affect their delivery. You remain responsible for checking your crab's care needs. Taking a photo creates a terrarium image. With your permission, Hermit Crab Simulator adds that image to your photo library; it does not need to read your existing library. If you choose to share an image, the service you select receives it under that service's terms. You can manage permissions in device Settings. Contact us with privacy questions or requests. Do not enter sensitive personal information as a crab name. 7. UPDATES AND AVAILABILITY We may update the app to fix problems, change content, or adjust game mechanics and rewards. Availability depends on supported hardware, operating systems, and platform services. We aim to provide a working game but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. These terms do not exclude any warranty, consumer right, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. We do not limit responsibility for fraud, deliberate misconduct, or other liability that applicable law requires us to retain. 8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS The effective date and version appear above. Material changes will be presented for acceptance before further play. Your mandatory local consumer protections continue to apply regardless of any update. 9.
